The Mortal Instruments:City of Bones tops Film Thrasher's list for 'Most Anticipated Films of 2013'. TMI beat out other popular book to movie adaptations such as Warm Bodies, The Host, The Hunger Games:Catching Fire and Beautiful Creatures.

I have been waiting for this movie forever. I read the books faster than you can say "read" and it's one of my favorite series. So how can I not be excited for the movie? Despite a lot of stir in the fandom over casting and all of that jazz, the teaser that played during the premiere of Twilight caused City of Bones to climb back onto The New York Times Best Seller list, so clearly it's doing it's job. The one film out of the many I truly believe will become "the next Twilight" is The Mortal Instruments, due to it's similar fan base and because author Cassandra Clare is so close to the film. It feels like her vision will stay true and that's what we all want out of a book to film, right?"
