Lily Collins: first movie images from The English Teacher released.

The first images from the upcoming film,The English Teacher, starring Julianne Moore as high school English teacher, Linda Sinclair, Lily Collins as Marie Healy, Michael Angarano as Moore's former student and aspiring playwright, Jason Sherwood and Greg Kinnear as his overbearing father, Dr. Tom Sherwood, have been released.

The movie centers around a small-town English teacher who finds herself stepping into the unknown as she takes on the dark, angst-filled play of her former student who is on the verge of abandoning his dream of becoming a playwright at the hands of his father.

The film will debut at the TriBeCa film festival and be released May 17.
